Where to Stay
Elisabeth by the Sea
We would highly recommend staying at Elisabeth by the Sea. This will also be the location for our welcome celebration on June 2, and the spot where shuttle buses will pick up for the wedding.
A few booking tips:
Language: Select “EN” on the hotel website for English. You will need to select English again using the globe icon (upper right on desktop) after clicking “Book.”
Discount Code: Use our discount code ELLIEANDWILL when booking. This code will be applied on top of any promotions they are running.
Breakfast: We recommend adding it—it’s in the hotel courtyard and very lovely!

There are lots of other hotel options nearby if you’d prefer to book elsewhere in Tossa de Mar:
Hotel Diana
A nearby option that keeps you close to Elisabeth and the welcome celebration.
Casa Granados Boutique Hotel
A smaller, intimate boutique hotel in Tossa de Mar’s historic center. Slightly farther away from Elisabeth by the Sea, but Tossa is a small town—everything is walkable. Just keep in mind it’s hilly and cobblestoned if you’re walking in heels!

Flying In
Barcelona–El Prat (BCN) and Girona–Costa Brava (GRO) are the closest airport options. We’ve always had the best luck price-wise flying into BCN, but worthwhile to check out GRO.
Travel Options to Tossa de Mar
Getting from Barcelona Airport to Tossa de Mar
Rental Car
You won’t need a car for any wedding-specific programming and Tossa de Mar is entirely walkable, but if you’re looking to explore Costa Brava before or after the wedding, this could be a great option. We’ve rented cars in the past and found it pretty easy so feel free to reach out with any specific questions! It’s about a 90 min drive from BCN to Tossa de Mar, depending on traffic. Like in the U.S., cars in Spain drive on the right side of the road, with the steering wheel on the left. There is a parking lot at Elisabeth by the Sea, but if you’re bringing a car you need to contact the hotel (info@bondiahotels.com) and let them know in advance so they can save a space for you in their private lot. If you’re staying at another hotel nearby, contact them to ask about their parking options.
Private Transfer
If you’d prefer not to drive, a pre-booked private transfer can take you directly from the airport to your hotel. Just make sure to reserve ahead and confirm the price, luggage allowance, and flight arrival details.
Direct Bus
Moventis Sarfa operates a direct bus service from Barcelona Airport to Tossa de Mar’s bus station, with departures from Terminals 1 and 2. Allow roughly 2–2½ hours, depending on the service and traffic, plus time to reach your hotel from the station.
Check the timetable for your travel date and leave plenty of time after landing for passport control and baggage collection.
June 2027 bus schedules and tickets may not yet be available. Please check closer to your trip.
Wedding Day Transportation
We’ll provide a shuttle bus to the wedding at El Convent de Blanes on June 3. Check back here for pickup locations and departure times.
The welcome celebration on June 2 takes place at Elisabeth by the Sea, so guests staying at the hotel won’t need transportation!
